Banana is a really delicious fruit having good qualities especially banana has a lot of iron. Healthful, filling, and tasty, bananas are one of natures ideal snacks. When stored at room temperature  most bananas ripen in a few days, the process can be hastened, however by placing them in a plastic or paper bag along with an apple, because bananas are bland, easy or digest, and hypoallergenic, they are an ideal early food for babies. Bananas along with rice, applesauce, and toast, are one of the foods in the BRAT diet, recommended after a bout of Diarrhea. Some ulcer patients report that bananas alleviate some of their pain, but this is unproven.

Bananas contain approximately 100 calories each, mostly in the form of fruit sugar and starch, because the body quickly converts these to energy, they are a favorite food of athletes.

These resemble large green bananas  but they never become as sweet. Plantains are baked or fried and served as a starchy side dish, they can also be a delicious addition to soups, stews and meat dishes. Nutritionally, plantains are comparable to bananas, except that their content of vitamin A is mush higher, providing approximately 20% of the RDA.
